Between November 29 - December 2, 2025, the article "Living as a Canary in the Coalmine" was published on theallergic.lukecallaghan.online in an altered form due to unauthorised modification by a Large Language Model (LLM). Despite explicit, stringent instructions not to alter any content, the LLM rewrote substantial portions of the original copyrighted text without permission, removed clinical evidence citations, and the altered version published on a false assurance given by the model that absolutely nothing had been changed.
Despite skimming the full article for changes and carefully reading the opening and closing paragraphs (the modifications were insidious enough as to keep the opening and closing paragraphs identical while discreetly modifying the middle) these changes went undetected for 36 hours and the derivative work consequently published under my name.

This altered version does not represent my work, my writing, or my voice. It contained inferior writing quality and removed evidence that supported my medical testimony, thereby undermining the credibility of my documented experiences.
