About Me

Following three years of training at The Deaf Society of NSW and Blacktown TAFE, I attained Certificates II, III, IV Auslan, Diploma of English/Auslan and Diploma of Interpreting.

I currently hold a Provisional Certified Interpreter certification (previous Level 2) and have been NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) accredited since early 2016.

I have experience interpreting for the NDIA as well as NDIS planning meetings and am currently registered with several agencies including the Department of Human Services.

I also have experience in the fields of Community Cultural Development, Education, Circus and Physical Theatre and Theatre/Arts work. I am passionate about interpreting in Cultural, Artistic, Education, Technology and Employment fields.

I have a full understanding of the value of the ASLIA Code of Ethics, an understanding and familiarity with Deaf culture, a commitment to improving access for Deaf and Hard of hearing people and strive to make the whole experience from booking to completion a professional, agreeable and easy one.
